I am always curious what kids are into these days.  Whether it be sports, academics, hobbies, or everyday life I like to work that into every portrait session.   As you can tell Lauren gets into her shoes!  Yes Nike Dunks for the win!  Her shoes are truly a part of her! 

Wait don't forget Spiderman!  She mentioned the gum (for I don't follow Spiderman so no clue on my part) so had to text mom and ask what kind it was again.  Going back to my kid days with some Bubble Yum gum! Add the glasses for the perfect look (which again I had no idea on the Spidey glasses haha)!  After all the shoe, Spiderman fun, a little outside, we were off to the basketball court. 

Is the basketball court her favorite place? 100% YES!  Spending a lot of time on the Nor Cal Supreme Courts with a basketball and loving every second of it!  She is so comfortable with a ball in her hands and being on the court.  Lauren is so chill I am feeding off her good vibes which is a perfect match to work with! I have so much fun working with athletes and getting some awesome images together it's a SLAM DUNK!  Haha did you catch that?!  LOL!

The last fun year of elementary school and now on to high school with the big kids.  8th grade time is a great time to capture your kids before they venture into their high school years.  Before you blink senior year will be right around the corner.  Enjoy all the time you can and then we will see each other again for senior portraits!
